Obituary of Lucy Lenore Landry-Giberson Landry
Peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023, God welcomed his child Lucy Landry-Giberson (nee: Humphrey) as she took her final journey home to her Lord and Saviour in her 80th year.
Predeceased by her husband’s Vernon Giberson and Andy Landry, her daughter Jeanette, grandson Tyler, and great grandson Tobias. Much loved mother of Sherry Stephenson (Marvin), Wayne Landry,
Andrea Keller (Dan), Jean Paul Landry (Annette), Wilbur Marchena, and Nicole Landry. Missed and loved by 13 grandchildren ,12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many treasured friends.
Lucy was a devoted Christian woman who lived her faith daily. Her quilts have been enjoyed by countless people in countries all over the world. She loved to read, write, and travel. Her recorded memories of photographs and stories will be cherished by her family for years to come.
Family will receive friends at the Bethel Baptist Church, 264 Princess Street, Strathroy on Friday, January 27th, 2023 from 10 to 11 am where the Celebration of Lucy’s life will be held commencing at 11 am. Interment Mount Brydges Cemetery.
