Edwin Beattie. What a gracious man who made others feel so important. Being a deep listener and keen observer of all matters, he would be able to discuss world politics to local lore. Friendly and gentile - a man of customs that have gone by the wayside. He always had a kind word and warm smile for me and members of my family. Our world just got a little smaller and a little less interesting with his passing. Our condolences, Sue Joiner (Fekete Family from Christina).

Our condolences to the Edwin’s family. He was a friendly quiet neighbour for many years. We were very happy for him when he moved to a Seasons. I saw him there when visiting my mom. He loved the activities. May all your wonderful memories comfort you at this difficult time. Sincerely , the Harris family.

I only knew Ed in passing and chit-chatting in the halls, as he and my mom share the second floor at Seasons. I was always amazed at how he was always reading, reading while waiting for his laundry, reading in the elevator lobby while his apartment was cleaned, etc. RIP Ed. I'll miss your friendly face.

Sorry for your loss. I unfortunately only got to meet Edwin a couple of times. I went to visit him at seasons last February. I’m presently living at the farm that spoke so highly of and was very interested in the history of the farm. He was very welcoming to have me there to talk about the farm and we went through many pictures and he told me lots of stories. I also posted a picture of the farm house I hope that’s ok. He will be missed
RIP Edwin

So sorry to hear about the passing of such a wonderful soul , working with Ed at Seasons was a great experience , mr. Ed was a happy , loving person , he loved to talk about his farm and his family , even when he was in pain he never let it known to others around him , always so cheerful and excited for what life would bring everyday .
