Obituary of Doreen Gabriel Elijah

Unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday, November 22^nd, 2023 Dorren Elijah of Oneida Nation in her 73^rd year. 

Cherished Mother of Samantha (Leon).  Loving Sister of Joan and Susie (Lawrence).  Dear Sister-in-law of Clara and Marilyn.  Survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.  Predeceased by her parents Jim and Velma and her siblings Cameron, Doris, Lyle, Terry, Charlie, Florence and Betty. 

Doreen taught the Oneida language at Standing Stone and Thames Valley District School Board for many years and tutored after her retirement. 

Family will receive friends at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home on Monday, November 27^th, 2023 from 6 to 8pm where the Celebration of Doreen and her sister Joan's life will be held on Tuesday commencing at 11am.  www.elliottmadill.com
