Watshiyosta, Peacefully at home in Oneida Nation, Nellie Abram born to Nellie Bread and Louis Nicholas on April 29th, 1933 in her 91st year.

 

Predeceased by her brothers Peter, Edward, and Charlie Nicholas and sisters Sophia Antone and Engeline George and Marita Doxtator, her children Bonnie, Fred, and Barney, her life partner Barney Powless, and her grandchildren Christopher Shawn Miskokomon, William “Billy” Antone; Leslie Mark Ritchie, Amber Rain Burch; Justin Regan Miskokomon and her Sons-In-Law Terry Ritchie and Gordon Antone. Cherished sister of Beatrice Nicholas.

 

Beloved mother of Nancy Miskokomon (Terry), Micheal Abram, Joanie Burch, Darlene Ritchie, Bonita Abram, Brenda Powless Antone, and Barry Powless (Juliana). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jason Miskokomon (Nicole), Tanya Doxtator, Daryl Abram, Marsha, Kyle and Kody Abram, Crystal Abram, Fallon Burch (Sam George), Jade Burch (Michael), Cole Ritchie, Santana Antone, Kallie Antone, Caelyn Antone, Bailey Antone, Tekenatoken “Jook” Powless and Ruby Powless. Great Grandmother to River (Alison) Abram; Tayah Doxtator; Sekilas Miskokomon; Kionus Burch; Donavan Cornelius; Kydon Cornelius, Samara George; Arya George; Mace George; Alexis Burch; Tyla Burch; Great Great Grandchildren Kyron, Lawson, Chayte, Cohen, Ondreyah, Nahni, Kamila, Aidan and many adopted children too many to mention.

 

Friends will be received at 826 River Road on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 after 6pm. Funeral service to follow on Thursday from the Longhouse on River road commencing at 11 am. Interment Longhouse Cemetery, Nicholas Road.
