I was sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I first met Bob when I worked with him in 2001. Together we built several buildings on the UWO campus. Bob was ever gracious in his time and taught me more than he ever knew. At that time, Bob had already worked with EllisDon for nearly 50 years and had probably forgotten more about his work than I would ever know. I last saw Bob in March of 2020. We met at one of my construction projects, took a tour and had a nice lunch. Bob had given me one of his business cards with his contact information, and that card has been next to my coffee maker for the last few months as I delayed reaching out to arrange another site tour/lunch. I know that Bob was planning on attending the EllisDon retiree lunch today, and it was there that I learned of his passing.
I am genuinely sorry for your loss,
