Arnold…..although l have not seen Barbara for a few years l was saddened to read the obituary in the paper and am truly sorry for your loss. I was your receptionist at Byron Family Medical for over twenty years and you both were like family to me. You and Barb were so close and such a loving couple and my heart is breaking for you . I remember Barb from my time as a teacher at Standing Stone School in the 90’s. What I remember most is her kindness, her fairness, and her supportiveness of the staff at the school. More than that, I will never forget how she loved and cared about the children and her hopes for their bright futures. A great lady with an even greater heart.
RIP, dear lady.

Q: How did you meet Barbara?
A: On March 2015 we began our Mnaasged Child and Family Services Elders Council, it was in this group of 12 elders from our 7 First Nations that Barb Antone came to us. She was one of our initial Elders, she was witty, funny, extremely engaging and always helpful with suggestions and advice on how we could move our Oganization forward, we will always remember her as one of our most dedicated Elders on our Council. Rest is sweetest peace, beautiful lady, we loved you.
