Obituary of Harold Franklin Smith

Harold Franklin Smith passed peacefully with family by his side, at Middlesex Terrace, Delaware, formerly of Mount Brydges, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in his 93^rd year.

Beloved husband of Doreen Smith (nee Nicholls). Loving father of Rick (Kathie), Valerie (Paul Milliken) and the late Penny (Benny Vermeulen).

Proud grandpa of Jeff, Roxanne (Ivan), Greg, Mike (Alec’s), Jeff (Courtney), Justin (Val), and Jody (Derek).

Cherished great-grandfather of Lake, Kailey, Gracie, Andrea, Owen, Kali, Sadie, “soon to arrive” Great-Grandson Hudson, and Trent, Jayden, and Gage.

Remembered brother of Helen Telfer, Don (Lorene) Smith and the late Mary Ramsay, Edna Hall and Bill Smith.

As per Harold’s wishes, cremation has already taken place.

A Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 18^th, 2023 from 3pm until 5pm at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges.  Inurnment at Mount Brydges Cemetery to be held at a later date. 

Donations to the Alzheimer Society London & Middlesex or Ivey Eye Institute gratefully acknowledged.
