Obituary of Don Albrechtas

At LHSC Victoria Campus, London with family by his side on Monday, March 6^th, 2023, Donald W. Albrechtas of Strathroy formerly of Melbourne in his 58^th year.

Loving husband of Deb Albrechtas (nee Whiting).

Loving father of Josh Albrechtas, and proud Grandpa Don of Parker Albrechtas, Makenzie, Bailey, and Owen Smith.

Remembered brother of Chris (Karen) Albrechtas of Melbourne, their children Justine and Braden, Brother-in-law of Dave Whiting, Brian (Karin) Whiting and uncle of Jessica (Anthony) and April (Matt).

Predeceased by parents Don Sr. (2018) and Bonnie (2015) and Sister-in-law Jane Whiting (2019).

At Don’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don’s Life will be held at the RCL 510, Melbourne, Ontario on Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 2 - 5 pm. A private family inurnment Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their greatest gratitude to both the Strathroy ICU and the LHSC CCTC teams for their excellent care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to “The Kidney Foundation of Canada”, “Canadian Diabetes Association”, “Heart and Stroke Foundation Canada” or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
