I have fond memories of Henry as we were classmates in nursing school. He always greeted people with a smile and loved to talk about life and his goals. He was a go-getter with a strong work ethic. He was very kind and would always lend a hand to anyone in need. His children were the light of his life. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.

I think this is back from 2006. We got together with friends from Church regularly. Doing Bible Study, playing games, hanging out. We enjoyed camping trips together too. Henry you will be missed.

A week later, I am still lost for words. Receiving the news of Henry’s death knocked the wind out of me. I know Henry from when he first went to college in London, and we chuckled many times over the fact that he learn to cook on his own - chewy noodles, sticky rice, you name it , but he surpassed all of that. He was a standup gentleman, a wonderful father and a great nurse. My husband passed a couple of years ago, and although the pain is still there, the children and I every day are stronger. I pray for each and every life that was touched by Henry, his children, his family, his fiancé. I pray God will comfort each and everyone of you, that He will strengthen and uphold you. That you may hold onto the legacy he left. That we may all strive to make this place better each and every day, even if it’s just simply by smiling and listening. May you find peace and joy knowing that he was loved, and he is home in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Hugs to you all. ❤️

I worked with Henry at Parkwood for a few shifts. I liked his "off the wall" humour and he spoke of children with much love. I will miss seeing him at work.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend, Henry. We will miss him greatly and it was a privilege to know him. He was a good person, caring nurse, and devoted father. We treasure all the wonderful memories we have from our younger years. We went on many camping trips together, played endless games of Settlers of Catan and had countless fondue nights. Henry will always live in our hearts.

“I am so sorry that you are going through this tragic event. I worked with Henry and was in the adoption community that he also was in. He was a great person, a loving father and someone who was kind to his patients. He will be remembered as a great Nurse and a good man. Hopefully the family and his children can find comfort in knowing that Henry's life mattered and he is in the hands of our most Wonderful Savior who gives us the greatest comfort. Death has no power over him. He lives on in Glory”

I am so saddened and sorry to hear about your loving, caring, passionate father and your son.
He was so funny, had a beautiful smile, soft spoken, and very smart man.
He always made sure we had our fresh eggs from his farm.
God bless you all. Be strong

Dear Henry,
I remember the firt time we met. It was your smile that I noticed instanly. For like the sun, warm and infectious, it lit up any room you happened to enter. And like the sun it will never fade, if anything, it'll only grow stronger in our hearts and memories.
Our Prayer for eternal rest:
Gracious and ever loving Father, hear our prayer for Henry. Grant him eternal rest in your beautiful garden. Let light perpetual shine upon him and may his soul, through Your mercy, rest in peace.

Henry spent at least 20 years at the home of Rick and Linda Bisset during the week of the November deer hunt.Hunting with Rick Bisset and Mike Cardinal. Henry was a wonderful person. I always looked forward to our hunts together, and fun and laughter and the good food my wife prepared for us. My dearest friend, my hunting partner, will be missed forever.
My condolences to all the family and his friends.
