Obituary of Ohkiwe Doxtator

Peacefully at University Hospital on Saturday, December 3^rd, 2022, “OHKIWE” Joanne Ruth “Kawanahaunte” Doxtator of Oneida Nation of the Thames in her 70^th year. 

Beloved wife of George Mavrikkou.  Loving mother of Rhonda (Wes), Graham (Marsha), and the late Ryan (2014).  Proud Aksoht of Aputi, Ty, Chance, Casimir, Grayson, Drayden, Nash, Kellan, Demi, Lexi and her 2 great grandchildren Koda and Mariah.  Dear sister of Bernie and Celia (Frank).  Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her siblings James, Eva, Roland, and Clive. 

Friends will be received at 1892 Fairgrounds Road, Oneida on Monday, December 5^th, 2022 after 4pm.  A Celebration of Joanne’s life will be held on Wednesday from the River Road Longhouse commencing at 11am.  Elliott-Madill Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.  www.elliottmadill.com
