Obituary of Nancy Kimberly Elijah

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nancy Kimberly Ninham (Elijah) after a brief illness on September 2^nd, 2022, in her 65^th year. 

Dear mother of Charmaine, Talon (Alexandra), Olivia (Kevin) and Chloe Elijah. 

Cherished grandmother of Auren, Preston Ireland Jr., Neless, Ellarae, Hugo, Delisle Elijah-Bressette and Charelle Rose Elijah. 

Survived by sisters; Lisa Ninham, Elsie Ninham, Joanne Summers, and Brothers; Jesse Elijah, Benjamin Ninham, and Layton Elijah.

Predeceased by parents Harley and Ruth Elijah and brothers, Harley Jr., Albert, Christopher, and Patrick.  Sadly, missed by Aunts; Alvina Arnason and Denise Elijah, also dear sister in-laws Ivy McKenzie and Diana Doxtator and lifelong friend Guy Hill. 

Second mother and Nanny to Danielle (Guppy), Charlotte (Roadie), Cherona (Harry), Shennaye (Mum), Bert (Hoot) and Alfred Ninham (Freddy).  Missed by special cousins Wanda D Hess, Darlene Elm (Bomberry) and Alberta Ninham-Smith.

Nancy will be deeply missed by several nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and many friends.

Nancy will be resting at her home at 1544 Elijah Road, Oneida Settlement, on Sunday September 4^th after 1:00 pm.  Funeral will take place at the River Road Longhouse on Monday, September 5^th at 10:00 am. Interment Longhouse Cemetery, Oneida.
