Peacefully at her home in London, with her husband Joe and their girls on Monday, July 25th, 2022, Josephine “Joey” van Bommel (nee: Bos), formerly of Delaware, in her 73rd year. 

Beloved wife for 52 years of Josephus “Joe” van Bommel.  Loving mother of Bryan (1993), Jennifer Chwiecko (Mark), Joanne Boyd (Adam), Karen van Dorst (Toine).  Loving and proud Mommo to four beautiful grandchildren Angelique, Brian, Monique van Dorst, and Amber Boyd.  Dear sister of Marris Bos (Tina), Antonia van Bommel (Martin), Arnold Bos (Anne Marie), and John Bos (Silvia).  Dear sister-in-law of Wim van Bommel (2018) (Truus) (1999), John van Bommel (2013) (Annie), Louie van Bommel (1993) (Anna), Toon van Bommel (Toos) (2020), Karel van Bommel (2017) (Jaantje), Paula Koolen (Ted) (2020), Frank van Bommel (2001), Maria Boogaart (2017) (John), and Wilma Goertz (Joe) (2009).  Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Family will receive friends at St. George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 10 – 11 am where the Mass to Celebrate Joey’s life will commence at 11am.  Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mount Brydges.   

In lieu of flowers, donations to Muscular Dystrophy, Easter Seals Camp Woodeden, or the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully acknowledged.  Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges entrusted with arrangements.
