Lorraine Attridge

Obituary of Lorraine Barbara Attridge

ATTRIDGE - Lorraine Barbara (nee JEVONS) - It is with great sadness that the family of Lorraine Attridge announces her passing on Sunday, March 6th, 2022. Lorraine will be missed by her brother Daniel Jevons and daughters Sandi Wilson and Carolyn Attridge. Loving grandmother of Cassandra and Tiffany Perriam, and Courtney and Matt (Amy) Coqu. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Attridge and her brother Warren Jevons.

Lorraine was a caring, sincere and selfless person. Devoted as any wife and mother could be, she doted on her family and found immense pleasure in being surrounded by her loved ones. Her concerns were rarely with herself, but with others. Lorraine found great joy in the kitchen and her homemade meals and delicious desserts, especially her apple pies, brought everyone together. Lorraine was not afraid to take on new ventures in life. Be it golfing, bowling, technology, running an orchard or baking for family and friends, she happily accepted new challenges with open arms.

Many memories and relationships with Lorraine were created around the card table. She adored playing board games and cards and was always happy to share her joy in this hobby with others. Lorraine’s legacy is celebrated in her quilts. Sewing was a large part of her life and she loved to create quilts for her community, friends and her family. With every stitch sewn, Lorraine’s compassion and love was fused into her work and will forever be cherished and loved by many, just as she was.

A special thanks to CCAC, Bayshore Home Healthcare, family and friends for the care and support over the past few years.

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at the Elliott Madill Funeral Home, 22424 Adelaide Rd. Mt. Brydges on Saturday, March 12th from 1pm to 3pm.  www.elliottmadill.com
