Obituary of John Garnet Nicholas

Peacefully surrounded by family at St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Sunday April 10th, 2016. John Garnet Nicholas "Lotahs" (Bear Clan) of Oneida went to be with his creator in his 63rd year. Survived by his partner Patty Nicholas, children Abigail (Josh) Burch, Matthew Hill, Luke Nicholas, Todd (Jenine) Nicholas. Grandchildren Paris, Miley, Dawson, Charles, Taneesha, & Lila Mae. Sadly missed by siblings Gary (Rose) Nicholas, Tracy Summers, Jacqueline Nicholas, Jason Nicholas, Allen (Violet) Elijah, Ricky, Mike and Michelle. Predeceased by siblings Dolly (Lorne) White, Don (Georgina) Nicholas, & Raymond Nicholas. Missed by his Mother-in-law Madeline Ireland. Predeceased by grandparents Emily and William Nicholas and parents Doris Summers and Gordon Albert. Remembered by Brothers and Sisters -in-Law, nieces , nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at 2228 Elm Ave, Oneida today Monday April 11th after 12 noon and on Tuesday. Funeral service to follow on Wednesday from the home commencing at 1pm. Interment River Road Cemetery. Elliott-Madill Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
