Hi! Your Mom surely must have been a special lady, as bright as they come, and very pretty, too !
I remember her last visit with us, when Ross & Rilyne made a special trip together just for my birthday on November 1st .
Such along drive for Grand-dad !
We have a photo of that day ,which we'll be sharing with you this week ,
Also, I recall a funny but also sweet reply she had for a previous would-be suitor, many years ago. ...her sharp mind was a delight to know !
I cannot imagine how much energy and wisdom -given by the Lord Himself (!) to daily be there for such a big family of equally bright and inventive children ! Which several decade later inspired a series of "Books" - an incomparable, colourful , and entertaining record of the many progeny who came along. (U ncle Ross , your "Books" & your hard work are very much appreciated ! Not only have you and Rilyne created a bright and loving family, cousins near and far are inspired to enjoy and appreciate the special moments those memories preserve for many years to come, and to value the heritage and treasure of God's good gift to us- being a part of a big, caring, fun-loving family :-)
In closing, it is special also that in God's timing , the newly created designs that Ross and others in the family have worked so carefully on for the recent project - the " Goheen Clan Cemetery Memorial " site - will be graced with Rilyne's home-going ceremony .
