Obituary of Marguerite Ireland

Ireland (nee Kilbourne) at the Extendicare Nursing Home , London on Friday, October 16^th, 2020 in her 101^st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Gordon Ireland (1991). Dearly loved mother of Janet (Ted) Burtwistle, Roy (Janet), Don (Ruth), Jim (Jean), Eleanor (Ron) Adams, Bill (Lois), Edie (Howie), and Lillian (Gerald) Lawrence. Predeceased by infant daughter Ruth.  Very proud Grandmother of 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Survived by sister Shirley Ready and brothers Gordon, Russel, and Ted Kilbourne. Predeceased by brothers Bill, Lloyd, and Harold Kilbourne and sisters Dorothy Thody, Gladys Hackett and Madeline Kilbourne. Mrs. Irelands family would like to thank the countless personal support workers and health care professionals who cared for their mother with such compassion, patience and love. There are no words to adequately express their gratitude. Mother will be remembered for her love of baking and her endless talent for knitting, crocheting, sewing and most of all her devoted love to all of the family. There will be a private family funeral service at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Thursday, October, 22^nd at 11am with visitation 1 hour prior. Rev. Deb Dolbear-Vanbilsen officiating. Interment Oakland Cemetery, Delaware. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Charity of ones choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
