Peacefully with her loved ones by her side on Monday, January 25th, 2016. Rose M. Scanlon (nee Stonefish) of Oneida in her 80th year. Predeceased by her husband Clifford John. Loving mother of Rose (John) Sibany & Janet Furotte of Ottawa. Grandmother of Cora (Robert) Imola of Hamilton, Shane Jaeger of Winnipeg, Mike (Sarah) Sibany & Chris Sibany of Hamilton. Great-grandmother of Anthony, Mateo, Habib, Touhan, Ruby & Oliver. Fondly remembered by siblings Berdine, Cindy, Tom, John & Wiley and predeceased by Wanittia, Richard, Samuel, Perry & Janet-May. Forever missed by many nieces, nephews family & friends. Friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, January 26th at the Longhouse, River Road after 12 noon. Funeral service to follow on Wednesday from the Longhouse commencing at 11:00 am. Interment Oneida Settlement.
