I send my sincere condolences to the family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Since I heard the news of Mikes passing, I have been thinking about some things, I remember when we were kids. So I wanted to share some memories.
I remember Mike and I running around Strathroy, having so much fun, ohhh the stuff Mike found for us to do!!!!!! Some I will not share as it was just mischief.
I remember the time you and I thought we would buy this clear pop, so the other kids did not know we had pop and the other kids would think it was water. To our surprise our parents laughed so hard as we both tried to drink our secret pop which ended up being soda water, yuk. Gosh we thought we were being sneaky. Then, our fights on who sleeps upstairs or on the couch, which I never won and had to sleep upstairs Boy I was a chicken shit sleeping up there.
One time we thought we were bad asses and found some wine and hid in a school in a window well drinking it. Oh boy! That was not good. Auntie Marlyn was so upset with us.
Then there was the old spin the bottle, yep that’s right. Rules up front, the cousins never kiss, we would spin again if that happened. What a laugh.
I know Mike would love our memories being shared.
Memories are held close to my heart, as it is with others I have lost in this short time.
As Mike and I grew older, time went on, our lives went in different ways.
Mike I will always remember you with that smile, at times it was a little mischief of a smile.
You are in my prayers / thoughts along with your family. Till we meet again cuz. RIP
