Obituary of Jane Christine Whiting (Darcey)

Whiting (Darcey), Jane Christine At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, December 22, 2019 Jane Whiting, at 64 years old with her husband and daughters by her side. Jane was born on March 10, 1955 to Mildred (Heidt) and James Darcey and raised in London, Ontario with her brothers Jeff and Bruce. She is predeceased by both of her parents and Jeff. Jane married Dave Whiting on March 17, 1979. They raised their much loved daughters, Jessica (Anthony Snook) and April (Matt Davies) in Mt. Brydges, Ontario. Jane was extremely proud of her successful career in marketing and the majority of it was spent with Costco Wholesale. Her talents for perfecting a pitch and closing a deal are unrivaled. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, her compassionate and classy nature, her strength, her great taste in music, and most definitely her phone voice. Her insistence on always having hope in this sometimes very dark world will forever be inspirational to her heartbroken girls and husband. Family and friends, past and present, may call at the Elliott Madill Funeral Home, Mt. Brydges from 2 - 4 pm and 7 - 9 pm on Sunday, December 29, 2019. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, London on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11 am. A private family interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
