Klaas and Goldha Stoker posted a condolence
Wednesday, December 4, 2019
Our deepest sympathy to Mrs. Liestra and your children and grandchildren on the passing our your loved one. As previous neighbours on Cayley Drive in London, ON, we are honoured to have known Klaas and are forever grateful to him for welcoming us into the neighbourhood, helping to clear our driveway on those snowy mornings, and sharing his positive and optimistic outlook. His presence is missed on Cayley Drive and now he will be forever missed as he has gone home to an eternal resting place. May the Lord continue to bless and comfort his family during this difficult time and may Klaas Liestra rest in peace.
With kindest regards,
Klaas and Goldha Stoker

Our dearly loved Oom Klaas has now entered into his heavenly home with his Lord and Savior; his final immigration. On behalf of the Loonstra-Family in Holland, we send you our condolences and deepest love. We hope that our Father will give - all of you, children and grandchildren - what you need, for now and in the future. We hope that the warm contact between the Family in Holland and the Family in Canada will be as warm as it was in the years our parents had contact with letters ("AIRMAIL"), by phone and in real; so good to see Family from Canada in Holland!

Clarence VanderVelde posted a condolence
Tuesday, December 3, 2019
Dear Etty, John, Gwen and families,
My condolences to you all. The LORD blessed Klaas with a long life -- even after having to deal with serious health issues about 15 years ago -- and now has called him into eternal glory. May the comfort of the gospel of Jesus Christ uphold you all. When I think of Klaas, I think of his good sense of humour, the twinkle in his eye and the mischievous smile on this face. I think with fondness of the times our families would get together years ago and spend a weekend together. Klaas was a pallbearer at my Dad's funeral. Wishing you much strength for the day of the funeral and the time thereafter. Clarence and Theresa VanderVelde, Burlington, Ontario
