Obituary of Elva Annis

Elva Gertrude Falls Annis (nee Meredith)

Born in Mount Brydges, Ontario  April 4, 1924 and passed away peacefully with grace on July 3, 2019, at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie, Ontario. She was a homemaker until the age of 40 at which time she worked for Canadian Hansen in Toronto until her retirement at age 65. She enjoyed 6 months a year for many years in New Port Ritchey, Florida. Elva was predeceased by her parents Mary (nee Thomas) and William Meredith, her husbands William Gordon Annis and Jack Wedderburn Falls as well as her son Thomas William Falls. Elva is survived by her daughter Margaret (Donald Murray), her son John (Beverly Comeau), two step daughters Beverley and Cindy and her sister Audrey Meredith. Fondly remembered by her three grandchildren Christine (Mark Cooper), Matthew (Cristy Murray) and Jenna (Kyle Willson) by seven great grandchildren, Mandy, Katie, Nikki, Sierra, Noah, Pheonix and Jordan and also by two great great grandchildren Natalie and Melanie. She leaves behind three nieces, Vikki, Joyce, and Kim, great niece Brooke and great nephew Gregory.

Friends may call at the Elliott Madill Funeral Home in Mount Brydges (22424 Adelaide Rd.) on Monday July 8th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday commencing at 11am.
