I am so very saddened to hear of John's passing...it has been a lot of years since I have seen him, but reconnected a few years ago on Facebook. We grew up in Lambeth together...both lived on David St and started Kindergarten together at McEachren, then both of our families moved at the same time to the other side of the village, again on the same street, and started Duffield together in grade 3 until graduating grade 8. John was such a peaceful, loving, caring and easy-going soul, always a smile and always a kind word. My deepest and most sincere sympathies and condolences to his family, loved ones and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

There is no one that could have made us happier to join the family then John, instantly I felt as if I had known him all along. So inviting, easygoing & comfortable to be around. I have never seen Joanne so happy and content. So very thankful to have had the chance to get to know John. Not enough time & our hearts are with everyone John knew and lives he touched.

Simply heart breaking. I felt a piece of me die when I heard the news. Even though it's been literally decades since we spoke last I've never felt out of touch with him.
Johnnie and I were blood brothers so long ago. Kindergarten together. Dinkie cars. Dirt bikes. Girls. Basement parties. Roommates. Pierced each other's ears even!
One of the best people I have ever known or could ever hope to know. My most heartfelt sympathy goes out to his loved ones. He was a great addition to my life and an even greater loss to all those whose life he may have touched. Ride til your heart's content now Johnnie!

He was an amazing man .I grew up with John and we had so many great times partying in his moms basement to rollerskating to drinking beer underage He was fun always smiled and didnt have a meen bone in his body He was my first crush and i will always love him To all his family I am so sorry for your loss RIP John
