The time that has passed since we last talked has not changed the loss I feel. The expectant feeling each day that I will see you and we will discuss the days events as we work together on a project. Missed are the encouraging words I would hear you speak to your grandchildren. The gaze of understanding and patience while administering your wealth of knowledge to anyone that asked for assistance. My friend, my mentor and my dad, I will miss you always, Love Martin, Ange, Selina and Alyssa.

Uncle Martin you truly were one of the kindest people I ever came across, not only were you kind you were my Uncle and a special one at that. I never really knew you when I was younger it was only when I decided to come to Canada for a holiday when I was in my early 20's that I can actually remember meeting you, first impressions last forever and over the years as we have both grown older I have felt I have got closer to you and got to know you both as my dear Uncle and as a friend. Myself, Paul and Amy are so glad we got to see you on our recent visit to Canada and hope you are now with the angels and no longer in pain. We love you Uncle Martin, be at peace xxx

I only knew Martin for a handful of years, but the impact he had on me will last until it's my turn to join him. Granda was a well spring of information, which I very much enjoyed taping into. From wood working to electrical installations. He made every project fun.
A patient man, who took me under his wing. Our time together was short. You will be missed so much. We will all keep you alive in our fond memories. I was vey proud to call you my father-in-law and a friend.

Dad there are no words that describe how empty l feel without you here with me.The consolation is that l know you are with mom and no longer in pain.You have always been the wind beneath my wings since l was a little girl. One of my favourite times growing up was when l stood on your feet and danced with you.Your patience for me was unfathomable,even when l asked you questions constantlyabout anything you were fixing.You were always ready to listen to me and gently guide in the right direction.There are so many wonderful memories.
