Obituary of Joan Peters

Suddenly at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, July 1st, 2017. Joan "Ted" Peters of Munsee Delaware Nation in her 57th year. Loving daughter of the Late Rae and Beulah Peters. Loving wife of Archie Pitawanakwat. Dearly missed mother of Tanya (Tom), Wesley,  & Lenny. Predeceased by daughter Wabananung (Peach). Grandmother of Alyssa, Jewell, Chasity, Hayden, Ryder, & Wesley II. Sadly missed by her siblings Barb, Dennis (Wendy), Ed, RayJay, Delores (Brian). Predeceased by siblings Judy, Johnny & Wanda. Survived by her Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydes on Thursday July 6th from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral service to follow from Munsee Delaware community Centre on Friday commencing at 11am. Interment Lower Muncey Cemetery.
