Obituary of Roland Gabriel Marchand

Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London surrounded by family on Friday March 24th, 2017. Roland Gabriel Marchand of Komoka in his 72nd year. Survived by his wife Rose Marie (nee Chaput). Dear father of Amy (Jason) Benn of Mount Forest, and David Marchand of Mount Brydges. Dearly missed grandfather of Joshua, Jeremy, Meagan, Noah, Marick, Lillyan and Logan. Predeceased by parents Moses and Isabella (nee Gaudreau)and brother Alfred and survived by siblings Donald (Jean) J.P. (Barb) Ernest (Dianne), and Donna (Boylan) Brian. Was a proud member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus as well as very active within his church in Delaware. Presence of 4th degree honour guard, greatly appreciated. Friends will be recieved by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home Komoka (22568 Komoka Rd.) on Sunday March 26th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Prayers will be said Sunday evening at 8:30pm. A knights of Columbus service will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm. Funeral mass to be celebrated from Sacred Heart Parish, Delaware on Monday commencing at 10:30am. Interment St. Francis Xavier Cemetery Tilbury. In lieu of flowers Donations to either the Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society or St.Peters Seminary Foundation Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
