Obituary of John Backx

Unexpectedly on Monday, October 12th, 2015 at L.H.S.C. Victoria Campus with his family by his side, John Backx of London went to be with the Lord in his 73rd year. Predeceased by his parents Henry (1990) and Mary (1997) John leaves behind his brother and friend Gus and his cherished sister-in-law Thea Backx of Mount Brydges. Uncle of Rob Backx and Karen (Brad) Coward. Very proud great-uncle to Cole and Chris Budd as well as Julia and Rachel Coward. The family would like to thank the hospital staff at Victoria Hospital (CCTC Unit), especially nurse Jennifer for her kindness and compassion. Visitation will be held at Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Wednesday, October 14th from 5-8pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Thursday from Sacred Heart Parish Delaware commencing at 11:00am. Father Matthew Bedard officiating. Internment at a later date Sacred Heart Cementary, Mount Brydges. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of ones' choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
