My sincere condolences. I have so many memories as a child growing up with time spent at my aunt Norma’s cottage in rondeau. Harold and Doreen were like part of our family. Harold was the funniest man I knew. So much fun. Doreen was so kind and all around happy lady. I have great memories of them both. I stopped in at there house a couple years ago. Had been years since I had seen them. So glad we had a great visit thst day. Rest in peace my friends.

Dear Rick, Valerie and family and to dear Norma,
I was sorry to read of Doreen's passing. She was a lovely lady ! She and your Dad, along with Grace and Cliff Nichols, became the first friends we made in 1957-58 when my family emigrated from England to Mt Brydges. We shared meals and friendship over the ensuing years. I remember one time so vividly. We were at your house for an evening and either you, Rick or Penny had a microscope. I was fascinated and did not want to go home that evening! You had a slide of a Monarch butterfly's wing !!!
Later, I would see your Mum very frequently as I always came back to Mt Brydges for church celebrations, marriages, and funeral teas of the friends I had there. We always renewed acquaintance very fondly. I saw your Dad occasionally at the Barber's Shop in London when I was out and about. I am sure they are together again.
My sincere condolences to you all at this difficult time.

Rick, Valerie and family's sending much love to all. May your mom rest in eternal peace. Your parents were life long neighbors on Prince street for a very long time. I enjoyed chats with your dad when I seen him on his walks. And sometimes when he and your mom were sitting out side. I'm sure they are reunited with one another. Condolences Tracy (Williams)
