Angela was one of my dearest friends. Her work at the Oneida Nation is when I first had a chance to get to know her and her commitment and dedication to serving the people. She could see in people what they could not see in themselves and she had the ability to create opportunity and realize potential where no one else could. She saw that in me. She saw my potential and she knew that I would be capable of great things if I put my mind to it and she was always a huge supporter. Because of her work she has helped hundreds if not thousands of indigenous people realize and find their own dreams. Her life was cut too short and her poor body could not stay up to the greatness of her mind. No matter how my life was going or no matter what stupid decisions I made in life she always was there to tell me how much she was proud of me and how much she loved me. I will always remember what she did for me and how much it meant. To Keith, vanessa, and chad, I want you to all know how much I love you all and how proud your mother was of you. I send you my love, prayers, and sympathies at this most difficult of times.
