He was a great man. Here a story I would like to share when he was a police officer .
I will never forget him. January 15, 1992 Earl and another cop played a big part in my daughter Amanda Sturgeon delivery. She decided to come on her due date during a snow storm. The ambulance got stuck coming from Strathroy, air medics couldn’t fly so Earl and partner took us. We got stuck in the snow twice and the roads department had to get us unstuck. Earl was like I don’t want to deliver no baby. They had their sirens going but no one would move out of their way. They were getting mad at drivers. Turns out the sirens were full of snow that’s why no one heard them. They still got me to the hospital safely and in time. I will never forget him and his partner for their service and getting me to hospital to have my beautiful baby girl. One story we will never forget & never forget Earl Smith.
