It is difficult to find the right words to express condolences for someone with as big a heart and spirit as Amanda. Though our time with her was brief, her impact was profound. Through her Mindful Ally Leadership Training, Amanda shared not only her knowledge but also her strength, passion, and vision for an inclusive and socially just future, led by Indigenous youth. Her fierce advocacy for Indigenous communities was a source of inspiration and will continue to shape our path forwards.
In honor of Amanda, we commit to implementing our learning from her leadership training by ensuring opportunity, equity, and welcoming learning spaces for physiotherapy students with an Indigenous background in the Western University School of Physical Therapy.
Our thoughts are with Amanda’s loved ones and close friends, and all who were fortunate to have known and learned from her.

My deepest condolences to the Kennedy family. I first met Amanda when she visited our school and shared the tremendous impact she made for youth though Yotuni. Amanda kindly invited others to help contribute to her vision and was an inclusive and deeply passionate leader. I have fond memories of helping out with Yotuni's camps for youth where I was able to learn so much from Amanda and how she made a difference in the lives of each and every youth who attended. I cherish her teaching and mentorship and was always so excited to learn how she was making an impact in the community. Her passion for making a difference and her leadership set an example for all of us to follow. She will be dearly missed.

I've found my self staring at a blank page for the past couple of hours uncertain of what to say exactly. This is so unexpected but i want to acknowledge you, Amanda you made a major impact on my life. You took me under your wing; I will cherish the moments we had.
You saved the teenage Sam, and gave me a purpose with being apart of Yotuni. Amanda was always for the youth, for the change. She accomplished her goal with her dedication. Interviews with news networks, doing lectures at Kings University. I'm so grateful to have been apart of seeing it blossom.
You became a friend, a sister, the nights we tore the dance floor up until last call, getting lost when on walks, laughing until tears. I'll never forget our moments.
I love you Amanda
