Obituary of Jean Isabel Stuart

We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother Jean Stuart (nee McCracken) at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Friday, September 9th, 2016. She celebrated her 91st birthday in style with friends in June and now has gone peacefully to be with her beloved Donald (2003). Predeceased also by brother Harry McCracken and sister-in-law Mary Margaret Thompson. She leaves behind her five children. Lynda (George) Earley of Kerwood, Betty (Neil) Tull of Aylmer, John (Lucille) Stuart of Wolfville Nova Scotia, Donna (Michael) Hanisch of Timmins and Barbara (David) Leedham of Rocky Mountain House Alberta. Grandchildren Michael, Martha, Tim, Sara, Terra, Hannah, Terry, Ron, Josh, Bryce, and Kayla and their respective spouses plus great grandchildren Meaghan, Brooke, Kade, Jordan, Jessica, Tate, Rhett, Avery, Cole, Zack, Mercedez, Ryan and Noah. Jean was always active in the South Caradoc community, Eastern Star and later in Strathroy with the hospital auxiliary. Her family and friends treasure her handwork. Her memories will always be in our hearts. A celebration of life will be held at the South Caradoc United Church (21054 Muncey Rd., Strathroy-Caradoc ) on Friday, September 23rd, 2016 commencing at 11:30 am. Frances Down officiating .
