Obituary of Johanna Catharina Ardina Gubbels

After a brief illness, with her loving family by her side, at University Hospital on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, Johanna Gubbels (nee: Jansen) of Mount Brydges in her 83rd year. 

Beloved Wife for 61 years of Hubert “Bertien” Gubbels.  Loving Mother of Hubert Jr. (Christine), John (Shirley), Alex (Eileen), and Carol Kiefer.  Cherished Oma of 9 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and 12 step great grandchildren.  Dear sister of Dielis (Carla) Jansen, Dea (Joop) Adriaens, and the late Arnoudus.  Survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family will receive friends at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Friday, May 24th, 2024 from 2 - 4pm & 6 – 8pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Parish, 124 front Street East, Strathroy, Ontario N7G 1Y9, on Saturday, May 25th, 2024, commencing at 11am.  Father Thom Blondin officiating. 

Interment Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Mount Brydges.
