Obituary of Cole Livingston Ritchie

Loliwio, Turtle Clan, Onoyota:aka, Cole Ritchie, of the Saugeen First Nation, left on his journey back to the sky on Tuesday May 7th, 2024 at the age of 36.

Loving son to Darlene Ritchie (nee Abram) and the late Terry Ritchie. Dear brother to the late Leslie Mark Ritchie.

Nephew of Nancy Miskokomon (Terry), Micheal Abram, Joanie Burch, Bonita Abram, Brenda Powless Antone, Maria Canatonquin, Barry Powless (Juliana), and Sheldon Ritchie. Also remembered by his cousins Jason Miskokomon (Nicole), Tanya Doxtator, Daryl Abram, Marsha, Kyle and Kody Abram, Crystal Abram (DJ), Fallon Burch (Sam George), Jade Burch (Michael), Santana Antone, Kallie Antone, Caelyn Antone, Bailey Antone, Tekenatoken “Jook” Powless, Ruby Powless and their families.

 Predeceased by his grandmothers Nellie Abram and Mildred Ritchie, his grandfather Lesie Ritchie, cousins Christopher Shawn Miskokomon, Cavin Ritchie, Adrian Ritchie, William “Billy” Antone; Amber Rain Burch; Justin Regan Miskokomon and uncles Glenn Ritchie and Gordon Antone, and by fur babies Bam Bam and Purdy.

Sadly missed by many friends and his faithful companions Chewie and Frankie.

Family will receive friends at 826 River Road, Oneida on Friday, May 10th, 2024 after 8pm.  Celebration of Cole's life will be held at the River Road Longhouse on Saturday commencing at 11 am.

Interment Longhouse Cemetery, Nicholas Road, Oneida.
