Obituary of Stephen Robert Hack

After a courageous battle with ALS, at Strathroy Hospital on Thursday, March 7^th, 2024, Steve Hack of Mount Brydges passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends in his 54^th year. 

Cherished Husband for 16 years of Kim Jewell.  Proud Father of Leanna and Braiden.  Beloved son of Peter (Gail) Hack and the late Elaine (Jim Baxter 2013) Hack (2011) and Son-in-law of Rick Jewell, Trif Jewell, and Brother-in-law of Daryl Jewell.  Loving Brother of Julie Hack (Bent Anderson), Erica Hack (Jim Graham), and Ian Hack (Mel).  Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, colleagues, and friends. 

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Sunday, March 10^th, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm where the Celebration of Steve’s life will be held on Monday commencing at 11 am.  Cremation to follow.

A Legion Service under the direction of Caradoc Branch #251 will be held on Sunday evening commencing at 6:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steve to Leanna & Braiden Hack’s Trust Fund, c/o Kim Jewell in Trust gratefully acknowledged. 

The family wishes to thank Steve’s Palliative Care Team at home and the ALS Team at U.H. for all their care, support and compassion provided during this difficult journey.
