I met Randy in my early teaching days at CASS. We both coached basketball teams there for one year. Loved his commitment and the way he treated his students and players. We began playing “righty vs lefty” golf in the years to follow with Thumper and Dan Grass. We even won a tourney or two! Also started having poker nights that Poolie organized, and those continued for decades!! I always loved his quiet gentle demeanour and his sense of humour. I never saw him in a bad mood. Even though our paths didn’t cross very regularly the past 15 years, I always enjoyed when they did, even if only briefly. It is sad to know that I will not see him again on earth. Great man, my condolences to Joan and his family.
