Obituary of John William Staines
Peacefully at his residence in London on Sunday, December 4th, 2022, John William Staines in his 98th year.
Beloved husband of the late Sylvia Staines (2002). Loving father of Julian (Sylvie), Christopher (Diane), and Alison (Dean) Dixon. Proud grandpa of John (Elizabeth), Jennifer (Taras) Kulyk, Alexandra (Ben) Smart, and his 7 great grandchildren. Survived by his siblings Laurie, Jim, Muriel, and Lily. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Lillian Staines and his siblings Norman, Cyril, Robert, and Barbara.
John had an interesting career as an Engineer and travelled extensively.
A private family graveside service will be held at Campbell Cemetery, Komoka. Donations to the Salvation Army, London, 80 Dundas Street Suite A, London, Ontario N6A 6A3 gratefully acknowledged. Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges entrusted with arrangements.
