Obituary of Stephanie Susan Noakes

Stephanie “Sue” Noakes, 72, of Mount Brydges, passed away suddenly while on vacation in the Dominican Republic with her loving husband by her side, on Friday, March 22nd, 2024. 

Sue will be forever missed by her soulmate and beloved husband Brian Noakes. Her children Mike Sorel (Andrea), Tamara Adams (Mike), Jammie Bowman (Andrew) and stepchildren Kim and Paul Noakes will always hold dear the wonderful memories they have of their amazing mother, as will Sue’s precious grandchildren Rachel, Alyssa, Nicole, Brooklyn and Julia.  Sue was a devoted daughter to her predeceased parents Stanley and Audrey Skinner, loving sister to Pat King (Gord) and predeceased brother Steven Skinner and adoring Aunt to Karen Langford (Jeff), Boyd King, Greg and Travis Langford.  She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and countless friends. 

Sue was the longest standing Bar Steward at the Delaware Legion where she took great pride in preparing her famous Friday Sue’s Lunches and serving up smiles to her loyal patrons. Sue will be remembered as a caring, dedicated and exceptional woman. She had a beautiful and generous soul that touched the lives of everyone she met. Her passing comes as a great shock and is immensely felt by her family and friends.

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges, 519-264-1100 on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where the Celebration of Sue’s life will be held on Monday commencing at 11 am.  

Memorial donations in memory of Sue can be made to the Delaware Legion Branch 598, 11577 Longwoods Road, Delaware, Ontario, N0L 1E0 gratefully acknowledged.
