Obituary of Donald George Booker

Donald George Booker January 24, 1932-April 18, 2020 Peacefully passed away at his home in Melbourne, ON., Chippewa of the Thames First Nations on Saturday April 18, 2020 in his 88th year. He is predeceased by his Parents Billy Booker and Fanny Nevels and siblings Vera, Bill Jr., Learly, Mona, Jim, Clet and Ivan. He is predeceased by his step-son Dwayne French. Donald will be sadly missed by his life partner of 36 years Merilyn French, his Children Kevin (Gisela), Jeff (Nancey), Lynn and Step-Children Vincent French (Yolanda Albert) and Lisa French (Darren Stevenson). Don was a loving Grandfather to Troy , Karl, Kalin, Angel, Myles, Zachary, Autumn, Kendell and Nimii and Great Grandfather to Meadow, Corbin, Dalilah, Nathaniel, Kylie and Karlin. He will be fondly remembered by many family and friends. Don loved his sail boat and sailing around Sarnia and loved dancing, gardening, listening to Willie Nelson and his Labatts 50. He will be remembered for his Masonry work as a brick layer. A service will be held at a later date in remembrance of Donald and he will be interred at the Longwood’s Cemetery.
