Amber Logan
A youthful spirit, fierce and free,
She walked the edge of mystery.
Not bound by creeds or ancient text,
She sought the pulse of what comes next— In whispering woods and starry skies,
Where earth and spirit harmonize.
A mind astute, a stubborn will,
She climbed the steep and rugged hill,
Defending those who had no voice,
And making love a daily choice.
Her hearth was wild, her circle wide,
With kin and creature close beside.
Though sudden shadows claimed her way,
And turned too soon our gold to gray,
Her footprints linger in the breeze,
Among the stones and ancient trees.
She wanders now where light is deep,
While we her memory safely keep.
