Obituary of Sharon Joyce De Lancey
Sharon Joyce De Lancey (née Tyner) of Strathroy passed away peacefully at her home on the afternoon of Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished memories.
Sharon was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard Frank DeLancey (February 2026), as well as her devoted parents, Joyce (January 2026) and James Tyner (1992).
She is survived by her loving siblings, Marilyn Tyner, Jacquie Tyner, Bruce Tyner, Jason (Michelle) Miller, and Darrel Radley. She was also the proud aunt of Kristle, Christopher, Tristan, Cameron, Jason, and Matthew.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Joanna, and her granddaughter, Grace, by her stepsons, Kent (Sylvanna) DeLancey, Colin (Corrina) DeLancey, and Kelly (Tammy) DeLancey. Sharon’s legacy lives on through her many grandchildren: Calvin (Rebekah) DeLancey, Celina (Josh) Clubb, Christine (Ryden) Tucker, Micheal DeLancey, Brendan DeLancey, Maddison (Duncan) Buchanan, Emma DeLancey, Corey DeLancey, Rebekah DeLancey, Joel DeLancey, Kylie DeLancey, and Rachel DeLancey. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Tori, Levi, and Charlotte, with two more precious great-grandchildren on their way.
Sharon’s warmth, kindness, and devotion to her extensive family will never be forgotten. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held at ELLIOTT HALL, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm with Words of Remembrance at 3 pm.
