Obituary of Gordon Dennis Cloud

On Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, Gordon “Dennis” Cloud of Kettle & Stony Point First Nation completed his earthly journey and began his walk into the spirit world, at 63 years of age, Dennis passed peacefully at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, surrounded by family, friends, and the love of his community.

Dennis was a devoted father to Gordon “Garett” Cloud (Hannah) and a proud grandfather to Gordon “Rowan” Cloud. He carried his family close to his heart. He leaves behind his siblings Debbie Bressette, Elizabeth Cloud, Cheryl Cloud, Diana Cloud, Bev Cloud (Charmaine), Lisa Cloud, Reg Cloud (Angela), and Stan Cloud (Sherrie). He joins his brothers Bradley Cloud, Don Cloud, Ron Cloud, and Jim Bressette in the spirit world. Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Peggy Cloud, and is remembered by Peggydawn, Mandy, and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, (22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges) on Thursday, August 27th, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A second visitation will take place at the Hillside Auditorium, Kettle Point, (6265 Indian Lane, Kettle Point) on Friday, August 28th, 2026, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:30pm. Interment Kettle Point Cemetery. The family invites all who knew Dennis to share memories, prayers, and stories as he is laid to rest.

Following the burial, the family warmly invites everyone back to the Hillside Auditorium to share a meal together. All are welcome to join in fellowship, food, and stories as we honour Dennis’s life and the love he carried for his community.
