Obituary of Stella Brzozowski
Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Thursday, June 18th, 2026, Stella “Stanislawa” Brzozowski, in her 90th year, went to be with her beloved Lord.
Predeceased by her loving husbands, Joseph “Joe” Brzozowski (2003) and Franek Baranski (2019). Dearly loved mother of John (Karla), Wanda (David), and Eddie. Cherished Babcia to Nathan, Victoria (Tyler), Joey, Josh, and Stella. Lovingly remembered by her two surviving sisters, Jania and Genia, their families, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Born in Golcowa, Poland, on August 23, 1936, to the late Wojciech and Karolina Mendyka. Stella immigrated to Canada with her younger sister in 1959.
She dedicated her life to her God, her family, and to working hard, always giving of herself to those she loved. Her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now with her Lord and reunited with those who have gone before her, especially her beloved father, whom she adored so deeply and lost at an early age.
Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges on Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026, from 11am -12:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at All Saint’s Parish, 124 Front St E, Strathroy commencing at 1 pm. Interment Sacred Heart in the Fields Cemetery, 23351 McEvoy Rd, Mount Brydges. Reception at Elliott Hall, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges to follow.
In lieu of flowers, Stella requested that memorial donations be made to a church or your choice in the form of Mass intentions (na msze) offered in her memory.
