Obituary of Wendy Ina Hansmann

With sadness and love, the family of Wendy Hansmann announces her passing on May 26, 2026. Beloved wife of Luke Hansmann (2018).

Loving mother of Tim, Laurie (Ed), Elaine (Bill), and Ramona (Dave 2026). Cherished Oma to Dennis (Jesse), Brittany, Holly (Matt), Justine (Geoff), Brad, Eric, Luke (Alex), Celeste (Curtis), and Shelby, and a proud Great Oma to fifteen great-grandchildren.

Survived by her siblings Anko (Jantje), Hennie (Henk), Martin (Jane), Jenny (Pete), and Tina (Bruce), and a number of nieces and nephews. Born in Roden, The Netherlands, on February 28, 1950, to the late Hendrik (2001) and Sandra (2009) Guikema. Predeceased by son-in-law Dave (2026), parents-in-law George (1974) and Erna (1983), and brothers-in-law Peter (2023) and John Hansmann (2025).

Private inurnment at Mt. Brydges Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hope Christian Reformed Church, Mt. Brydges, on Saturday, May 30 at 10am. Pastor Dave Adams officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at 11am. Donations to the Strathroy Baptist Church, 20 Centre Street W., Strathroy, ON, or the charity of your choice.
