I think uncle Dick used to take my nose (with a finger pinch) as a kid and Tante Baukje would make him give it back! I have so many wonderful memories of her and my heart and thoughts are with you.

Dear Bea is at her final resting place in peace, one of the big things I remember of her was her big smile , always so loving and welcoming and would always make time to have a conversation with you whether you just met her or knew her for years. The kindness has definitely rubbed off on her family. Our deepest sympathies from all of us , Pete & Desiree, Matthew, Julie. Deepest sympathies from Gooitske ( Gerda ) Posthumus , she would visit Bea weekly when she was at Trillium village.

I will forever remember Baukje. She welcomed our family with open arms when we moved to the area. When they lived on the outskirts of town, I got to stay with Dirk & Baukje, having only met them a few times, within the first few months of moving to Canada. Bea was kind, always had a ready smile. She enjoyed playing games when we came over, teaching us the game of marbles, with a deck of cards.
I'm happy Bea is no longer struggling and may now rest.

I first met Bea when she worked Bingos for wheelchair Rugby. She was always a joy to work with at the bingo hall. Funny enough I entered Bea's life again when she moved into Trillium village. She was always friendly and welcoming. My thoughts are with family during this difficult time.
