Obituary of Marrigje Bloemendal
Peacefully with her loving family by her side at Country Terrace, Komoka on Sunday, March 22nd, 2026, Mary Bloemendal (nee: Bruinink) of Mount Brydges in her 94th year.
Beloved wife of the late Henk Bloemendal (2018). Loving mother of Bert (Debbie) Bloemendal of Delaware, Henrietta (Henry) Swinkels of Parkhill, Ben Bloemendal of Strathroy, and predeceased by daughter Jane (2017) (Marinus Noordermeer) of Kitchener. Proud grandma of 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Elly Bruinink-Reinds and Eldert (Reit) Bruinink and sister-in-law of Rikie Bruinink. Mary and Henk were longtime owners of the Mount Brydges Flower Shop.
Family will receive friends at Hope Community Christian Reformed Church, 22638 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges, Ontario on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, from 10 to 11 am where the Celebration of Mary’s Life will be held commencing at 11 am with luncheon to follow. Pastor Phil Apoll officiating. Private family interment Mount Brydges Cemetery.
