Obituary of Alfred George Hope
Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Strathroy Hospital on Monday, March 9th, 2026, Alfred “Alf” George Hope in his 86th year.
Beloved husband for 38 years of Joan Hope (nee: Hooper). Loving father of Alfred (Lisa) and Patrick (Barb) and stepfather of Eileen (Wayne) Perry. Proud grandpa of Zachary, Cory, Chassity, John, Tracy and Tyler. Great grandpa to Colton, Lola, and Mike. Dear brother of Patricia Bristow and brother-in-law of Marnie. Survived by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Gerry and Ron and his great grand daughter Addie.
Alf was a Past Master of Merrill Lodge #344.
A private family Celebration of Alf’s Life will be held at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges. Inurnment Longwoods Cemetery, Melbourne, Ontario.
