Obituary of Michael Daniel McCarty

It is with heavy hearts that we share Michael (Mike) McCarty of Mt. Brydges, Ontario passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, March 5th, 2026.

Beloved husband to Tammi for 32 years.  Loving father to Ray, Megan (Tyler), Shawn (Abril), and Shannon (Mark), cherished grandpa to Zachary, Brady, Abby, Faith, Ellis, Alma and Mateo. Much loved by his sister-in-law Paula, brother- in-law Tim and many extended family and friends.

As a husband and father, Mike protected and guided his family through difficult times and took pride in celebrating both small and large accomplishments and joys with them.  His family was his greatest treasure and he loved them dearly.

As a friend he was fiercely loyal and prided himself for showing up when it mattered most.

As an athlete he exhibited hard work, sportsmanship and discipline.

As a leader he set an example of virtue, commitment, integrity and teamwork.

Mike lived a big and bold life driven by good humour, hard work and a deep love for his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, from 2-5 pm., at ELLIOTT HALL, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mt. Brydges, Ontario N0L 1W0.
