Obituary of Peter Scholtens
Peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital on Monday, March 2nd, 2026, Peter Scholtens of Mount Brydges in his 83rd year.
Cherished husband of the late Nancy (nee: Carter) (1991). Beloved partner of Ruthanne Freer. Loving father of Laurie (Lorne) Mitchell, Angelia (Martin) Neary and the late Peter Jr. (1978). Proud papa of Greg (Connor), Cara-Lee (Amber), Selina (Isaac), Alyssa and great grandpa of Paisley and Dallas. Dear brother of Henrietta and Patricia. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by the Freer and Hunink families.
A Celebration of Peter’s Life will be held at the ELLIOTT HALL, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm. Inurnment Mount Brydges Cemetery at a later date.
