Obituary of Robert Mitchell Cornelius

Unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, February 25^th, 2026, Robert “Junie” Mitchell Cornelius of Oneida Nation in his 61^st year.

Beloved partner of Terri Antone. Loving father of Robert Jr, Deborah, and Marshall, stepfather of Valerie. Proud grandpa of Austin, Alexandra, and Alexandros, step- grandpa of Tasyia, Treyson, Treydon, DJ, and Keanna, and great grandpa of 2. Dear brother of Leroy. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  Predeceased by his father Mitchell Nicholas (1989), his mother Pauline Cornelius (1991), his daughter Elizabeth, his stepson Troy (2019), brother Clayton (2023), and sisters Debra (2008) and Donna (1998).

Family will receive friends at Junie & Terri’s Residence, 3121 Smith Road, Oneida on Friday February 27^th after 4pm where the Celebration of Junie’s Life will be held on Saturday commencing at 11am. Interment at the Cornelius Family Cemetery, 1612 Elijah Road, Oneida.
