Obituary of Richard Frank De Lancey

With heavy hearts we share that Richard “Dick” De Lancey, in his 84^th year, passed away peacefully at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy Ontario, on Monday, February 2^nd, 2026.

Beloved husband of Sharon (nee: Tyner). Loving father of Kent (Sylvana), Colin (Corrina), and Kelly (Tammy). Proud grandpa of Christine (Ryden) Tucker, Michael, Calvin (Rebekah), Brendan, Maddison (Duncan) Buchanan, Emma, Rebekah, Celina (Josh) Clubb, Corey, Joel, Kylie, Rachel and great grandpa of Tori, Levi and Charlotte. Dear brother Jim (the late Ingrid), the late Bob (the late Violet), Reg (Deb), Don (Kim), Evelyn (the late Richard), Marsha (the late Dale) and the late Frances. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the mother of his 3 boys, Gayle De Lancey. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marguerite De Lancey.

The family would like to thank all the staff at Strathmere Lodge for all their care and compassion provided to Dick and a special thank you to April.

A celebration of Dick’s Life will be held at ELLIOTT HALL, 22424 Adelaide Road, Mount Brydges on Saturday, February 14^th, 2026, from 2 to 5 pm.
